Welcome!

I love a good story, I love to study (pretty much anything), and I love to travel. I figured if I’m going to travel, why not share what I learn along the way. Thus, I made this blog—a travel blog focussed on educating others about how cool the world is.

I’m Aidan Evans. I’m a PhD student at the University of Cambridge and Yale graduate in computer science and philosophy. When I can get away, I’m traveling around the world—totally taking advantage of Europe’s amazing and cheap public transport. I have always enjoyed learning about the places I visit. Moreover, it is during my travels that I learn about things which I would never have learned otherwise, and satisfy my search for adventure!

Photography

Photography has been a lifelong hobby for me. I first started taking photos with a Nintendo DSi as a kid and then with a small digital camera for my birthday. After using that for years, my grandfather gave me his old DSLR camera, a Canon EOS 20D. While it’s almost two decades old, that camera still takes great shots! Depending on my travels and what’s easiest to bring with me, I still use that camera in addition to my GoPro and iPhone.

Here are some selected photos!
